THE UPPER ROOM DISCOURSE. Learning from Jesus in the Upper Room .Death came as no surprise to Jesus. He spent the final week of his ministry in Jerusalem headed toward the cross. And he spent the final evening before his execution in the upper room celebrating the Passover with his apostles. His words and in his actions that evening were carefully chosen in anticipation of his death. In these final hours before his execution Jesus shared his heart with the men he loved and with us. Let’s learn from Jesus in the upper room.
